PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI - The 35-year-old Adrian man accused of killing a 19-year-old while driving with a blood alcohol level four times the legal limit made a brief appearance in 14A-1 District Court Tuesday, July 11.

Matthew A. Stoy had a probable cause conference and preliminary examination postponed until next month.

Stoy originally was appointed a public defender, but there was a change of attorneys at the hearing. Ann Arbor-based attorney Joe Simon, who is now representing Stoy, said he needed more time to look at the evidence.
