Man pleads no contest to embezzling from Ann Arbor high school girls soccer program
ANN ARBOR, MI – More than $30,000 embezzled from the Pioneer High School Girls Soccer Program by its former treasurer is expected to be returned next month after the man agreed to pay the money back.
Christopher Poterala pleaded no contest, July 25, to a lesser felony count of embezzlement of less than $20,000. He was originally charged with embezzlement of more than $20,000 after police determined he stole $30,975.25 over two years while he served as the booster club’s treasurer.
